MATERIALS:
- Wire Wreath Form
- Peat Moss
- Floral Wire
- Bowl with Water
- Heavy Duty Scissors
- Various Succulent Plants
- Ribbon (*Optional – can use wreath hanger)
HOW TO:
Step One – Soak moss in a bowl of warm water for 10-20 minutes. Wring moss dry, and mold around your wire wreath form using your hands to shape.
Step Two – Wrap floral wire firmly around the moss and wire wreath form, until the moss is securely in place.
Step Three – Add succulent plants at the roots to the moss, with soil still around your roots. Be sure to tuck the roots beneath the moss. Secure in place with wire. Work your way around the wreath, until you are happy with the end product.
Step Four – Cut a piece of ribbon your desired length, so that you can loop it around the top of your wreath. Hang on your door from a hook or nail.
*To care for your wreath, keep moist with a water bottle. Make sure the wreath receives some morning sun, but is in shade the rest of the day. Direct harsh sunlight will damage your wreath.
