One of the hardest things about eating healthy is the constant craving for something sweet and sugary. Most of the time my craving is chocolate! If you think about it, we already get enough sugar on a daily basis from fruits, vegetables, dressings, etc. When we eat highly processed or sweet desserts it just pushes us over the edge… way over the edge.
In an effort to be a little healthier, my family is doing an 8 week challenge. No sugar is one of the rules. It is actually the hardest rule for me. So I went on a mission to find delicious sugar free desserts that I could still enjoy when that awful chocolate craving hit. I was amazed at how many I found that were truly tasty!
My suggestion for anyone looking for sugar free desserts is to have an open mind because without sugar, things do taste different. Not bad… just different. Well, some things are just bad. I’ve tried so many sugar free cupcakes and muffins and they all taste like cardboard! I made sure to only share delicious sugar free desserts!
