I stood in front of my fabric stash forever trying to decide which fabric to use for my Wild Flower Top. I couldn't decide on something solid, or stripes, or floral or... and I changed my mind at least 5 times. Then I remembered the sequins in my stash. And the sequined Wild Flower Top was born.
The thing I love most about this pattern is that it is totally customizable! You take your measurements and it walks you through cutting the proper size for the bust, front & back. Perfect for those who have a larger or smaller than average bust size! So my pattern was a mash up of sizes and fit perfectly when I was done!
Sequins bought it in L.A. somewhere. A black knit blend also bought in L.A.
What I would do differently:
You are supposed to cut sequins off so you don't sew them into the seams. I would definitely take the time to do that next time. I didn't break a needle, thankfully, but the seams aren't that comfortable with sequins in them!
This is the perfect outfit for going out! I tried to get pictures of myself in it but it's so dreary and drizzly here I got nothing good. But trust me, it fits perfectly!
