I love Fall and Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday! This year, I decided that I wanted to have some beautiful DIY artwork to put up for Thanksgiving. While I was brainstorming fun ideas I thought of this very simple gold leaf framed art!
I couldn't wait to get started with this pretty little masterpiece.
It's so easy and simple, but it looks elegant, sophisticated and really brightens up the room.
Let's make some...
Gold Spray Paint
Hot Glue Gun
1. Choose which leaves you will use. Spray paint your leaves and leave them to dry for about 20-30 minutes.
2. Choose which scrapbook paper to use for your background and cut them to size. I cut mine 8x8 or 5x7. I even used vellum on a couple and they turned out beautiful.
3. Play around with your leaves and paper. Place them how you want them to be placed and then put a little dab of hot glue on the back of the leaf and place it on the paper. Don't forget to hold it down for a minute to make sure its secure.
4. Place the finished artwork in your frame and use for decor around the house!
There are so many options to change it up. I had such a hard time deciding which leaves to use and what type of background.
Play around with it until you find something that you totally love!
I even had the idea of using a simple little Hello Fall printable as the background. So I played around with a couple different designs! Feel free to check them out.
Some of these would be great to give as gifts to friends or even your spouse... I love the little play on words I'm Falling For You!
Fall is so gorgeous! I love everything about it...happy crafting!
