It’s the most wonderful time, of the year…
I secretly love the ugly < rel=”nofollow” href=”https://bit.ly/ILTCholidays” target=”_blank”>Christmas sweater party trend. It’s fun and creative and creates laughs so what could be better?? I made my first ugly sweater this year already. Did I miss the mark and hit “cute”??
Ready to make this “cute” ugly sweater yourself??
Gather your supplies:
- Plain sweatshirt
- < rel=”nofollow” href=”https://bit.ly/ILTCholidays” target=”_blank”>Tulip brand iron-on transfers (I honestly prefer this brand to others I’ve tried)
- Iron
- Printed shape templates
I used a die cut machine to cut out my shapes but you can definitely do it by hand if you want! I love all the glittery shapes making a tree shape. The iron on transfers aren’t sticky so you can place and replace them until you’re ready to iron. Once you iron they’re on permanently. This is a fool proof ugly sweater project.
Thank you to the fantastic Tulip Brand for supplying me with all sorts of ugly sweater supplies. I’ve got so much fun fabric paint, glitter, iron-on transfers and puffy paint that I’m planning a little Ugly Sweater Party with the kids. They’re so excited!
