Join me on facebook for Lesson 1 on Tuesday, February 28th at 4:00 p.m. EST. If you join my facebook group I'll be sharing the video there while it's live so you won't miss it!
Lesson 1: Sew A Pillow Case
During this lesson you'll learn how to thread your machine, what type of thread and needles to use, how to find the grainline, how to cut your fabric and much more. You'll be sewing straight lines with ease at the end of this lesson!
A sewing machine. If you have an old one sitting around, make sure it's in good working condition. There is nothing that will be more frustrating than a sewing machine that doesn't work well. If you don't have one already, I recommend this Brother sewing machine as a good starter machine. My daughter has had this one for years.
Fabric. 1 yard of quilting fabric for your main piece and ⅓ yard of quilting fabric for the cuff.
Basic Supplies. Get good sheers, a seam ripper, a cutting mat, rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, polyester thread, sewing machine needles (90/10).
See you there!!
