DIY Style: Black and White Tee

Gwen Top: great tee sewing pattern

Today I’m wearing my Gwen Top. I knew my body type doesn’t lend itself to the Gwen dress but as a tee it’s great! Paired with jeans it’s a fun top for any day. The wider neckline gives it a bit of a dressier feel.

Pattern: Gwen

Options: Top length, cap sleeves, faux raglan, neckline facing, no placket.

Fabric: Medium weight patterned interlock from JoAnn.

Size: Size medium blended to size large at the hips.

Alterations: I didn’t make any alterations. Next time I would do the neckband to finish this top if I used this fabric again. It’s cute but a little thick for a facing. Or maybe I should just use a different fabric all together for facing. I’d also add a little to the sleeves because they’re a bit tight on my arms.
